As late as the 90s, Ironman been a prisoner during the Vietnam War yet had barely aged. And he was no mutant to have low healing factor. Nah. It's me realizing it's not a big deal. Like I said, the comics have done the same. So have cartoons. And every medium ever. Exactly. Plus, it's like: use your fucking imagination, you soul-dead dipshits. Innit?

Like I said, the comics have done the same. So have cartoons. And every medium ever. They also killed Iron Man off in the 90s. Along with a bunch of other mainline Marvel characters (Heroes Reborn). That's also when they brought in the teenaged Tony Stark. Which cartoon did it? No cartoon in the past 30 years had the characters stuck to a certain time period. They may give a date when they do a flashback or show the future, but they never say what year the series takes place in. Again: head in the sand. Also, here is the origin of Stark making the suit. It was modernized so that he was in that country, but not during the time of the war.

How exactly are we supposed to buy that James Mcavoy and Michael Fassbender are going to suddenly morph into Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen in the span of about 10 years? Obviously, the continuity of the X-Men films has always been extremely wonky but even then, that just seems like it'd be really difficult to accept. How does mutant aging work in the X-Men films? I never understand why people like you can't just accept that they are the same character.
What does the fact that they don't look exactly the same matter at all?
It's not a problem in the slightest, much less a major one.
