Never heard that one but I used to own Mould's debut solo album Workbook and truth be told, it was kinda dull. Like Candy Apple Grey minus the energy. But maybe I'll give Modulate a listen sometime. I'm always interested in hearing new music by old artists that I love.

I liked Husker Du and Sugar but I can't remember any of his solo stuff at the moment. I thought I did but I was thinking of Frank Black's solo stuff.

The Sugarcubes - Here Today, Tomorrow Next Week! The Stone Roses - Second Coming Definitely Second Coming. A quality album with no weak filler as far as I'm concerned. Unfairly judged next to their debut because it's a different style; more excessive with guitar solos and riffs and big drum beats coming out of it, and I love it!
