Baby Driver (2017) Rotten Tomatoes: 97% (8.3 average rating) Metacritic: 86
IMDb v2.0 average: 7.7 (26 votes - updated 25 January 2018)
I already saw it and thought it was great, but I'm also very interested to hear what other people that have seen it would rate it?

What the hell, I'll give it a 9/10. In reality, it's probably more of a mid-to-high 8, but it deserves the benefit of the doubt.
It's an original, ballsy movie with a great cast and intensely streamlined direction.

Uh oh.
7.7/10. Perhaps it's expectations, I thought it was a good film, but expected more. I thought the first two acts were great, not good, great, but once it entered the third act I felt it lost steam. Maybe I wanted one more car chase, maybe I felt the relationship between Baby and Debora was charming, but was lost in the heist shuffle. Overall it's a good film, that has good replay value.
Also......I wish a certain actor was actually in the film for more than 5 minutes.

Personally there were plenty of action beats, a foot chase, gun battles, and parking lots.....but they didn't have that wow factor that the first two car chases had or that warehouse battle. The film peaked in the Diner scene with Baby and the gang, which was a fantastic scene, but whatever followed didn't live up to that....in my opinion.

I almost wish that he and Foxx just switched roles.

10. Original and fun. There probably won't be another film like it for a while, unless Edgar Wright does something else that redefines genre like this.
