I think the scene was sufficient and effective in representing the war and also achieving it's narrative aim- which was Diana rising above and becoming the hero she had trained to be. Agreed. Wonder Woman certainly does a better job than any other CBM that has ever been made in portraying the horror and brutality of war. And the scenes of injured soldiers with amputated limbs and of women and children killed by poisonous gas echo the words of Hippolyta at the beginning of the movie to an 8-year-old Diana who's eager to start training with the rest of the Amazons that war is nothing to hope for. That's 1 of the reasons why Wonder Woman is such a well-made movie.

At no point does anyone explicitly say that is the only No Mans Land on the front. They don't say that it is and they don't say that it isn't. You're arguing a none point. Sounds like this thread is just another attempt by an MCU fan to try to discredit and tear down a DCEU movie. It must suck for MCU fans that the best CBMs this year are non-MCU movies and that Wonder Woman is better than all of MCU's movies.

I still think it's an amazing scene and one of the best CBM scenes out there. However, putting it into context of reality of World War 1, there were hundreds of trenches during WWI all over France and Europe and ran for hundreds of miles, and not just in straight lines either. The film however makes it out that this was the only No Man's Land region and that after Diana help turned the tide on this one section of the trench, that it changed the tide of the war. In reality, more Germans would have come from all directions. It's a minor nitpick and probably something most would overlook, and I can too, but its something to think about. Also, in reality, there were no 5,000 year old Greek Superwomen formed out of clay by Zeus. What an embarrassing goof! lol!!

Don't worry...nothing you say is that important to ruin this movie for me. I love it.
