Who could possibly have thought that hiring directors with a track record of making comedies could result in them trying to make a comedic take on the material? Crazy. Just crazy. Nobody could have seen that coming. The fact that Lord and Miller were actually doing all of that makes me wonder if they were even really "STAR WARS" Fans to begin with. Real "STAR WARS" Fans definitely have ideas for things that they would like to see in the movies but they definitely wouldn't turn "STAR WARS" into something that it's not which is a Comedy. That being said, I wonder what George Lucas thinks of all of this ? That's true. There were absolutely no jokes in the original Star Wars trilogy. |
