I like to brew my own coffee at home (boiling water poured over grounds in a filter cone method), but sometimes it helps to have an "emergency" bottle of coffee in the refrigerator if I don't have the time or the inclination to brew up my own. So, I usually keep a bottle of cold brew coffee in the fridge as a back-up.

I'm not familiar with that product, but I'll look for it. It might come in handy for other things, such as certain chocolate mixtures that are enhanced by the addition of coffee.

how long does it last? ie, the expiration date? I just checked the expiration date on a bottle purchased fairly recently: it says it is good until March of 2018. It needs to be kept in the fridge, but yeah, it should keep in your refrigerator a LONG time. (I'm not worried about that, though, as I'll use it up long before that.)

I get it for emergencies from Trader Joe's but it definitely tastes awful. Doesn't last quite as long open. Mine says "use within 30 days of opening." Mine's been open on the fridge door for a good 3 months and I have hardly used any.
