That's 4 for a nice square number, putting thought into it & covering any feature length SW film.
1. Binary sunset SW - probably my choice for most iconic sequence in cinematic history... visually stunning, symbolism, covered by John Williams' spectacular scoring.
2. Trench battle SW - the most fun still to date sequence of the saga for me... SW is my #6 all time, & it's this sequence which hits the highest highs.
3. Luke v Vader ESB - I mean, this remains the apex 1-1 of the saga & I'd bet will remain so forever. Lightsabers, Vader's force, capped by the reveal.
4. Speeder bikes ROTJ - while an iconic drop off from my top 4, this sequence is pure joy... not least it's set amongst flawless nature. Calming yet exhilarating. Luke & Leia's only action partnership yes?
I thought about putting TFA Luke in there, yet I think the more we see of him going forward (at least 1 more film), the less impactful that'll feel. Seeing Luke in 2015 was like seeing him come back from the dead, only 100000x wiser & more powerful - just by standing there.

1. Your "2": I'm on the edge of my seat every time I watch it, especially when Yavin IV gets really close to "in range" 2. Your "3": The mood and the imagery of the sequence is so great 3. Asteroid chase ESB: The music and the visceral nature of the scene makes it one of the most exciting in the series 4. Luke training with Yoda ESB: This is where we learn the philosophy of the Jedi and even hear words of wisdom that are applicable in real life
Honorable mention Luke v Vader ROTJ: It gets really intense here. This is what the whole series leads up to and it doesn't disappoint

1. Tarkin, DV & Sidious watching the construction of DS-1 at the end of ROTS.
2. Mace trying to arrest Palpatine (not that ridiculous spin) "I AM THE SENATE!"
3. Palpatine's declaration of the New Order with Padme's "So this is how liberty dies....."
4. No, I am your father!
Honorable mention. The Binary Sunset.

1) The Binary Sunset (A New Hope) - I always see this scene as a metaphor for the Star Wars universe both in and outside of the story. At this point all we, the audience, are in the same position as look, as we seen little of the galaxy outside of a desolate desert planet, but we along with Luke discover it has near infinite possibilities. Star Wars could have been just another quickly forgotten sci-fi film, but it turned into a cultural phenomenon.
2) Vader's Revelation (The Empire Strikes Back) - Arguably the greatest plot twist in movie history, Unlike most this twist drastically changed the dynamics of the story and caused Luke and the audience to question what they thought was a standard black and white story.
3) Anakin's "Death" (Revenge of the Sith) - Despite the fact that Anakin did not literally die at the end of the movie, viewer consistently refer to this moment as "Anakin's death". It created a genuine feeling the Anakin Skywalker had died and Darth Vader had taken his place. It was showed the tragedy of the situation as Kenobi laments about what could have been. The Prequels get a lot of flak of substandard drama, but here it is top notch.
4) The Galactic Celebration (Return of the Jedi) - Of all the changes that Lucas made with the Special Editions, this is the one that added the most to the story. It served both as a retrospective of the locations seen throughout the trilogy and showed the victory at Endor was a victory not just for our heroes, but for the whole galaxy.

1. "There was no father. I carried him, I gave birth, I raised him. I can't explain what happened."
2. "I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead, every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women and the children, too. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals. I HATE THEM!!"
3. "Hold me like you did by the lake on Naboo."
4. "Medically, she is completely healthy. For reasons we can't explain, we are losing her... We don't know why. She has lost the will to live."
Very difficult to whittle it down to just four but these classic prequel moments have truly stood the test of time...

1. The Throne room scene in Return of the Jedi, especially the end with Vader looking at both Luke and the Emperor with the lighting reflecting on his helmet. Great emotional scene and a great redemption arc for Anakin.
2. Luke vs Vader in empire strikes back.
3. Trench run from A New Hope.
4. Anakin Skywalker vs Obi-Wan Kenobi. Okay hear me out with this prequel haters. Yes the actual fight was over the top with the sped up lightsaber duel, but it was the most emotional moment in the entire prequel trilogy (for me), seeing two friends, two brothers clash and fight to the death. John William score was great as well.
