I hate to rave about this show. It is kind of "popcorn" entertainment.
Niecy Nash just knocks this out of the park! She is so good in this, and pulls off the drama and the comedy aspects!
I was a bit prejudiced, I loved Niecy in Reno 911, I had no idea she could pull off dramatic roles.
Yes, I know that her plot line of taking care of her autistic brother, and her crew was emotional manipulation to give us sympathy for her.
But I accepted it completely and was able to enjoy the show!
This is not an "epic" show, but I like it and will continue to watch!

Plus Niecy looks sexy as hell!

I really love it. Got hooked watching the 1st episode. I knew Niecy as the hilarious Denise Hemphill on Scream Queens. I had no idea she do pull off drama in such a great way. She's really good at it and quite versatile. Also, what a pleasure it is to see Carrie Preston again, as Polly the ex-con who went to jail for identity theft. What a beautiful character, strong and fragile at the same time, and dealing with many midlife crisis. Carrie used to play Arlene on True Blood and she also plays the whimsical Elsbeth on The Good Fight. And Harold Perrinau is doing a great job as Dean, the autistic brother of Desna, played by Niecy. Can't wait to see the next episode.
