Naomi was nowhere near as annoying in the beginning before she got her hair permed, but I like Bubba more than Sonya and Buzz.
And because of this show, and very likely for no other reason, I read The Scarlet Letter, took me forever and it dragged on and it was hard to keep an interest, but I got it done, thank you Mama.

I loved this show. just like with night court, I bought seasons 3 - the end. [buzz and sojna didn't do it for me, but I did prefer Naomi in season 1 and 2. she seemed more with it and less dense.
and her screechy voice was annoying as shit.

I do watch the reruns often on Logo and Me. It was a sweet, funny show from a far simpler time. I remember watching this with my Mom on Saturday evenings.

This was one of my favorites as a kid. I preferred the episodes with Bubba and Iola to the ones with Buzz and Sonja and Aunt Fran, as the latter ones were, to me, just funnier.

latter means last.
Former First. Latter Last.

That's what I said, the latter (later) seasons.

I disliked Buzz and Sonja but I find it a funny that their names were reused a lot for townsfolk on Golden Girls when Rose (Betty White) would tell her St Olaf stories

I didn't know that. The majority of St Olaf townsfolk were said to be Norwegian and Sonja was a common female name.
