Any fans of Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket"? How has it held up after 30 years? While not Kubrick's best film, it's still a solid film. Many complain that the second half pales in comparison to the first half, but I do think that, although it's not as good as the first half, it does have its share of highlights. I think the stuff with the sniper in Hue City is compelling near the end of the movie. The movie is also well-acted, well-crafted and does have some good camerawork (I love that low-angle camera following the solders from behind near Hue City).
