Um, the answer is yes. Yes, it is REALLY that bad. The release of Alien Covenant provides opportunities to revisit older movies in the franchise. Sometimes time is kind to the films (Alien 3 is one of the more well liked of the Alien movies now, as is Predator 2) and other times its not. With AVPR, it's definitely the latter. Boy oh boy, what were they thinking with this one? Forget the horrible effects, bad acting and non-existent script, you can't even SEE anything in the movie - it's THAT dark! It was really terrible, but it does have that kind of lovable B movie feel to it.

It's the worst Alien and Predator product ever made.
Fortunately, it's non-canon to the main series, so it doesn't exist in my opinion.

There is a script. The acting isn't bad and it wasn't too dark for me. I don't know what to tell you,
AVP was bad. Alien Resurrection was bad. AVP:2 is ok.

I don;t think it is. I found it slightly more enjoyable than the previous film the last time i watched it. I thought the Predator involved had more...jennysayqwa... and the Predalien was interesting. The humans sucked but they sucked in the first one as well.
