Photoshop warning (so not real)
This would of course be everyone's dream, but in all seriousness what do you think the RT average and/or percentage will be for Dunkirk? Based on the first reactions it's almost sure it will get a fresh rating, but will it be more than 80% or maybe even close to 90%? Nolan fanboys... smh. I guess everyone is entitled to dream a little.

Is there any more reactions ? Not as far as I know. Edit: actually I just came across this article from Indiewire where Edgar Wright and Rian Johnson talk about Dunkirk.

Both of those guys are great filmmakers. I remember when Johnson raved about Interstellar as well. As for the RT prediction, I'm going to go with an 88%. I wonder what it'll make on opening weekend? It's projected at $40 million, but I would've guessed at least $55-$65 million.

Dunkirk is off to a great start on IMDB. I doubt very many of the people voting have seen it yet but it's at a 9.8 with well over 1,000 votes.

I think Dunkirk will be more loved by critics than the general public

Could be a case of pre-release hype, but it does sound good. Of course we'll have to wait for the reviews tomorrow and until we see the movies ourselves.

First review on Metacritic and it's a 100/100 from Movie Nation. Movie Nation: "Christopher Nolan transforms the legend of Britain’s “miracle” retreat from the Fall of France into a harrowing, immersive blast of Greatest British Generation fear and dread, a thrilling, pulse-pounding experience that is the best film of the summer and an early Best Picture favorite." & "Great directors make great movies. And with “Dunkirk,” Christopher Nolan has made his second masterpiece, thrilling history retold, remembered and relished." The Guardian: "It is Nolan’s best film so far. It also has Hans Zimmer’s best musical score: an eerie, keening, groaning accompaniment to a nightmare, switching finally to quasi-Elgar variations for the deliverance itself." Hollywood Reporter: "Dunkirk is an impressionist masterpiece." If I have time I'll edit this post and update it with all the reviews on Metacritic. All reviews on Metacritic: 98 based on 13 reviewsEmpire - 100 Entertainment Weekly - 100 IGN - 95 Indiewire - 100 Movie Nation - 100 Screencrush - 70 Tampa Bay Times - 100 The Hollywood Reporter - 100 The Playlist - 100 The Telegraph - 100 The Wrap - 97 USA Today - 88 Total Film - 100

I know it's just 7 reviews, but even then a 100/100 on Metacritic is pretty impressive. Just imagine what would have happened at the IMDb boards right now had they still been around. It seems to be better than in my wildest dreams.

I know, I've never seen these kind of reviews for a blockbuster/war movie, at least not in recent years. If this is what the critics say it is, an instant classic, it's exactly what Nolan needed right now to maybe get the Acadamy on his side for the upcoming Oscars.

It's almost like too good to be true. I hope it's not too artsy (which was my main beef with Apes). I trust Nolan, though. His vision has never failed.

It's confirmed, I'm currently living in a simulation, because this is near impossible. 19 reviews on Metacritic and still at 97. This year is already given us amazing movies like Logan and Baby Driver, but it looks like Dunkirk is gonna destroy everyone Fury Road style. I should have never doubted Nolan with his PG-13 rating.

kevin @sdrew It's unbelievable. I knew dunkirk would be good, but literally every critic calling it a masterpiece? I did not expect that. 97 on metacritic? I've never seen those numbers on a blockbuster.

Logan and baby driver were fantastic (and i loved alien covvie which I guess is a very unpopular opinion) but this looks like it may hold up to having a "one of the best of all time" title

I know it will probably still drop a little, but with 20 reviews and a 96 on Metacritic it's currently #14 on their list of best movies ever.
