not sure about the casting for the two leads but Connelly could've been a great Lois.

If they got Keaton and Reeve on it instead of making Batman Forever, perhaps Reeve wouldn't have been paralyzed.

If they got Keaton and Reeve on it instead of making Batman Forever, perhaps Reeve wouldn't have been paralyzed. It was said that Burton was interested in doing a Batman/Superman crossover film. According to my research, WB approached him with this concept (that is why later he was interested in Superman Lives). He wanted it to feature Keaton's Batman and Reeve's Superman. The problem is, Reeves was trying to establish his career in the 1990s "Post Superman" and didn't want to further typcast himself in that role. The irony is, the film would have been shooting and he would have been doing press releases etc during the the time he was horseback riding and became paralyzed.
