What will Aunt May say to Peter?
I think she'll say "Peter, your Uncle Ben always knew you were going to do something great with your life and now you have that chance. If your Uncle Ben could be here to see this, he would be so proud of you. If only you could've had these superpowers the night that your Uncle Ben was shot and killed - then you might have been able to stop the killer and save your Uncle Ben."

I think that would be good. It would make for an interesting dynamic between the two.

You'll probably misunderstand or make-up what's said anyway

I'm thinking she won't know.
I am thinking Peter will either say it's a costume for a party or he will quickly Web grab the mask, pull it on & come up with a story about Peter helping him. He does have that enhanced interrogation mode voice.

Peter will come clean about the whole thing, and May will do what she did in the comics when she found out: She'll admit that it was HER fault Ben died, because he was only outside to be shot by the burglar because of an argument they'd had. Peter will try to say she couldn't have known what would happen, she'll turn it back on him and say he shouldn't let that kind of guilt poison his soul. So they both come out of it better and stronger than they were.

He does have that enhanced interrogation mode voice. This. He did nothing that says he is Spider-man like what happened with Ned. Or May can come up with her own conclusion and say that he's weird for dressing up like Spider-man and walk away mumbling in the other room about it not being her place to judge him.

So Peter won't tell Aunt May that he could've prevented Uncle Ben's death but didn't do so because he was busy trying to win some money wrestling Randy "Macho Man" Savage? So Peter is going to let Aunt May think it was her fault and let Aunt May feel guilty about something that he could've prevented but didn't do so?

No, he'll tell her everything like he did in the comics and she'll say it wasn't completely his fault and he can't keep blaming himself for it. And he should've known better than to think she'd just fall over and die if he told her the truth. It was a great story because it deconstructed all of Peter's excuses for never telling her and have him own up and admit it was really because it was really about his own guilt than how she'd react. And that he underestimated May, like he always had.

Or she could blank the whole thing out of her mind, going into a massive denial about her beloved (and sole) member of her family risking life and limb, transplanting this deep issue into a massive dislike for Spider-Man. Taking a while for her to understand and accept.
Or so that actress (or JMD) said.
Not slamming what JMS eventually worked out, which I liked.

This is a spoiler for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Consider changing the title or stay an asshole, it's up to you. SaveSave

Hah! If she starts to get passive aggressive with Peter, that'd be something different from other versions.
