I wish we would see a new version of Norman Osborn in the Spiderman sequel, he doesnt have to be the Goblin right away just have him as a corrupt businessman who runs Oscorp but also does shady things here and there and wants to get rid of Spiderman. Who could play him IDK, maybe Bryan Cranston or Jon Hamm, I heard the rumor about Matthew Mcconahey but he already turned down a superhero movie so. Thoughts?? Also who could play Harry??

If they want to have him come in and lead the Thunderbolts or something that's cool, but he doesn't have to be there at all as far as I'm concerned.
There are dozens of great Spidey villains, there's no reason to get upset about not having Osborn in there.

Yes but this is the MCU a chance to have every (well almost every thanks Fox) marvel character in the same universe, they NEED Osborn in this franchise so he can be the Lex Luthor of the MCU. Yes we have seen him before in the other movies but those werent connected to other superheroes it was Spiderman in his own little world.

Someone like Michael C. Hall or if this wasn't in the MCU continuity, Guy Pearce. As for Harry Osborn, someone like Asa Butterfield maybe. Anyway as Tuco mentioned, there are other villains they can do in the meantime.

They'll keep doing what they do best, which is build a robust world. If they decide Osborn provides the best path forward, they'll do it, but it's not a shame if they decide something else works better.

Cranston is too old. Harold Mitchum was pretty Norman like. Jon Ham is not bad Julian McMahon would be my pick

I agree. Spidey's got so many interesting villains who haven't yet been portrayed, and I'd argue more than just Green Goblin, Doc Oc, and Venom could easily qualify as archenemies to him. Heck, they could bring back the Vulture in future Spidey sequels and then make easily make him the "official" archenemy for this version of Spidey.

If they were smart they would slip an "OsCorp" skyscraper in the background of the NYC skyline going forward, start planting seeds right away.

It would be cool if they gave him a huge push like that, yeah.

I'd rather they do without Norman Osborn or Green Goblin for a while.
The good thing about Spider-man is that he has a ton of villains, several who haven't been done.
I suppose if they hadn't done Kingpin in Daredevil already they could have had Kingpin be the big Spider-man villain for a couple movies.

Another name I'll throw out there is Michael Shannon. But I don't know he's interested in another supervillain role.
