I got hooked on this show until about the 6th or 7th ep of the first season. Then I saw the direction it started going in. More if the same ol " ohh it was all a dream , or he is imaging it " nonsense. Such a fucking cheap way to go. I would have been happy with just sticking to the "cyber hack for hire " angle. They just had to jag it all up with the dumb subliminal shit. Trying to be a " smart" show , when ironically that makes the show dumber and unoriginal I feel the same way about seeing how it took a real bad turn a few episodes in, and it was sad to see them go with that way overused it-was-all-a-dream/hallucination shtick. Yet somehow I still watch this show. lol

The story is actually kind of easy to follow, but is intentionally muddled by the mental illness of the main character. Explain the Whiterose's obsession with clocks and time. You just did. He's obsessed with clocks and time. I'm pretty sure he/she explained it at one point but I'd have to look it up.

I have watched The Leftovers. It raises a lot of questions, many that have no clear answers. But it was pretty easy to follow what was going on, for the most part, compared to Mr. Robot.
