films? What are some things?
I would say
-making Gotham look unique and not exactly like NYC and Chicago -not making Batman a weak little bitch -Not being obsessed with "Realism "

I do want Batman to be a little more unrealistically powerful. Not in an unfair way, but I'd like to see him be on the same level he was in BvS during that warehouse fight scene.
Then make Deathstroke just as good. I want a few heavyweight throwdowns between these rivals.

I loved Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy but what it was lacking was some of the fight choreography & some of the action scenes . I truly think Reeves can improve on that .

The action scenes. War also showed that he knows how to make a third entry that isn't a massive disappointment. Probably not much else, though. Not only are Nolan's first two Batman films near perfect, but Reeves has his work cut out for him after Snyder turned the Caped Crusader into Rorschach.

I would say to make it R rated, but that isn't going to happen. So maybe add more gore/violence and adult language. Nearly all of Nolan's more violent moments are off-camera, and the worst anybody insults anyone else is by calling them a "freak". Ooooh really hit them where it hurts!
Agree in giving Gotham more character rather than making it look like some generic US city.
Try adding some dark humour.
Improve on the choreography.
Basically you want to merge the best things about Burton's Batman universe with Nolan's.

Make it in style of the Arkham games. I consider those the best Batman products to date.
I enjoy Nolan's movies, but they're far from the best Batman products imo.
Also, don't make Batman sound like he has throat cancer when he speaks lol.

Embrace the fantastical elements, the pulpy weird horror trappings that Batman was inspired by. In other words:
- have monstrous villains like Clay Face, Man Bat, or Solomon Grundy.
- Incorporate secret societies and occultism whether it be the Court of Owls, the League of Assassins, the Sacred Order of Saint Dumas, and the Lazarus Pits. Emphasis the horror element with Gotham City and locations such as Arkham Asylum.
- Don't be afraid to include a large number of villains. Make it simpler by establishing a supervillain hierarchy that is the extreme end of Gotham's criminal underworld. Have a boss villain per film like Joker, Penguin, Two-Face, Riddler, etc. and feature recognizable or unknown villains as henchmen or collaborators. The affiliation should make some sense though. Example, Scarecrow knows Hugo Strange or Riddler knows Mad Hatter while Penguin knows Black Mask and Two-Face.
