July 17th marks the 35th anniversary of Judas Priest's "Screaming for Vengeance" album. Any fans of this album and/or Judas Priest? How has this album held up after 35 years? This is the album known for the songs "You've Got Another Thing Comin", "Screaming for Vengeance", Bloodstone" and "Electric Eye".

Preferred them pre-British Steel, they jumped the shark for me going "pop" on that one.

A solid 8/10, maybe even a 8,5/10 on a good day. Some of the "lesser" cuts like Pain and Pleasure and (Take These) Chains kind of drags it down a bit for me, but it does come with one of my favorite 80s Judas Priest songs:

This album is a classic for the ages. "The Hellion/Electric Eye" remains my favorite song of all time!

Still a kick ass album, and I still love it. My favorite track is "Bloodstone".

I'm not a diehard Priest fan, but from what I've heard, I like Sad Wings of Destiny the best.

Like a few tracks, not from that particular album. Favorite is probably the one that goes POUNDING THE WORLD LIKE A BATTERING RAM.
