Until recently I had a job that was away from home. I was working in mining so I'd be gone for 4 weeks and be home for 2.
So the last time I came home my Xbox One needed an update. That's normal. So I updated the thing and it wouldn't play any of games. All my games needed to be updated before I could play them. That really pissed me off. I'm extremely happy I bought The Switch. I never have to deal with problems like that.
Anyone else run into this problem any or other problem with the Xbox One?

I believe the Xbox One requires Internet to play games or you must sign in once every 24 hours in order to play offline.
I can't remember exactly, but it's one of the two.
I know it sucks. I moved recently and was without internet for 2 weeks.
I tried to install the Resident Evil origins collection offline, but it wouldn't let me unless I was online.

I think it's that we don't get the whole game on a disc. I think we have to download part of them when we buy the game on disc. Why else would we almost always have to update a game whenever we put it in the system?
I think there must have been one or two games I didn't need to update day one when I put it in my Xbox.
