My KC Royals are hot. 8 straight, albeit against a bunch of awful teams.
I just don't think it's sustainable. Moss has been ass all season, as has Gordon and Escy, which has been putting too much pressure on the stars (Hos, Moose, Salvy, Cain, Whit). Eventually the wear and tear of so much work will slow them down.
For all you non-Royal fans here, what do you think? Can they keep it up?
Also, I'd like to know what you guys think of Hosmer. Just in general. I think he's one of the Top 10 Faces of Baseball, but then again I'm pretty biased.

Fish deal Ramos to the Mets in exchange for 2 minor leaguers. Interesting move, I like it for the Fish, we need to rebuild our farm system and get new talent in and Ramos was just average as a closer anyway. What do the Mets fans here think of the deal?
Marlins have been playing a lot better lately, won 6 out of 8 and I like our moves trying to get younger minor league guys. Now I'm just ready to get a new owner, I can't wait to get rid of that asshole Loria.

Reds are vomit worthy, but it's a game of cycles. If your team has won the World Series this century and you're now crying that your team sucks and there's no hope, there's no sympathy from me. Rise and fall and rise is an important factor - and it doesn't happen overnight. Go Reds!

A trade for next year more than anything. Ramos will close for the rest of this year and then slide in as the 8th inning guy, setting up for a healthy Familia in 2018. Addison Reed is likely to be traded today and if not, then he's gone as a FA at the end of the year so this is a good re-tooling move. I prefer Reed to Ramos but this is a good re-tooling move. They did give up a highly-regarded prospect though in Merandy Gonzalez, a starter with good stuff. Who knows obviously but could be a good piece for the Marlins in a few years.

Yeah Brewers need a win, D-Backs are leading Cubs 4-0 so the Brewers can gain a game. I like this Brewers team, they are versatile and have underrated pitching.
Marlins have now won 4 series in a row, took 2 of 3 against the Nats. I think we may get a winning record this year for the first time since 2009.
