Have any wrestlers' entrance themes been released as singles? If so, did any of them place on "Billboard"'s Hot 100 chart? How high did any of them get?

Im not sure if any ever made Billboards top 100.
Run DMCs version of the DX theme from WWE Aggression had a music video. I mean, some stars used popular songs. Undertaker - Kid Rock - American Bad@$$ and Limp Bizkits - Rollin'
Victoria - Tatu - All the things she said
But I doubt this is what you meant.

That one made it to the charts? And, yes, I mean themes written for the wrestlers as opposed to them in the old days using other people's songs.

I always loved Scott Hall's TNA Theme 'Marvelous Me': link: Scott Hall TNA ThemeIt had a certain 'cheese' factor to it like you were watching a late movie on USA at 3:00am on a Saturday night in the 90s - but I thought it was quite 'catchy'

I've never been a fan of every single guy having their own entrance music to begin with. But in my opinion it always really took a lot of the impact away from somebody's entrance when they come out to a song that was written especially for them. It just doesn't feel like a real song to me that I can take seriously.

True.. or the Rock.. or Undertaker... but I think entrance themes with no lyrics generally work a lot better. I get what you are saying jayhn111 although I also think entrance themes written for them generally sound way better than using an already existing song.. a lot of the times when they use a song and try and fit it in with the wrestler that's when I cant take it seriously.. think of sheamus current theme.. it suits him.. now think of his old theme.. you know.. the one that started with the lyrics ''its a shame''.. cos it sounds a bit like sheumus.. that was ridiculous. Or Randy Ortons current theme.. and how suddenly he started to mention how he hears voices... which he didn't before.. just to try and fit his character with his song...

I'm just talking about from my perspective. They don't feel like real songs to me so it kills it for me. A lot of people like Austin or the rock's songs. I can't even remember what they were or what they sound like, but the people did take to them.

I think it just depends on the theme. Honky Tonk's worked very well for him. As did DX, HHH, and Evolution. All of which had lyrics.

Yeah but they don't have to be... at least to me I don't view them or treat them the same way I do with real songs. I wouldn't sit at home and listen to the Rocks music on my Hi-Fi or Chris Jerichos theme in my car... even though I love those themes when I hear them whilst watching WWE on telly. I get your point but I'm just saying they add to the wrestler for me because all I view them as are entrance themes for that wrestler and nothing more. Unless its a real song. or a crap theme. or John Cena. (sorry had to get that on e in their for you Caleb)

Yes which is why I was careful to say 'generally'... of course there are ones with lyrics that work great too.. Jerichos springs instantly to my mind. Maybe its just me but I would say most of my fave entrance themes are ones without lyrics.. also my fave HHH theme was the instrumental of 'higher brain pattern' I think it was called... the one he used to use occasionally but more often he would use the one with lyrics.. I always thought the one without them sounded way better though.

I do think the one without lyrics sounded a little more chilling.
