Such a 'guy' 'alpha dog' thing to do - intentionally get a guys name wrong or call them 'Bub' or 'Sport' when you're in a position of power. Anybody out their think the Team President doesn't know your name when you're the QB of the team? Or is Bruce Allen just being that disrespectful douche since he can? I look forward to 'Kurt' throwing for over 400 yards a game again - but the 'Skins finishing 8-8 as usual

Though I have had people call me the wrong name for years, and even several in my family spells my first name wrong consistently, as there are two equally-likely spellings. Facebook friends spell it wrong even when the correct spelling is right in front of them. And it's a short name. And, yeah, I feel like those people don't care about me or don't really know me.

You nailed it with you feel like those people 'don't care about me or really don't know me'. Some people are horrible with names. I am. When I bartend PT on the weekends I may run across a genuinely good interesting human being - and two seconds later I forget their name. I'm always apologetic and explain I'm horrible with names and it's always been one of my weaknesses - but at least I'm honest. We're talking about the Team President here in a multi billion dollar franchise dealing with quite arguably the most important position (QB) in all of pro sports. Wonder if Cousins has given a response yet - or if he's the type of guy (not from that area) that just let's things like this roll off your sleeve. To me - it reeks of the President is bitter and being a bit juvenile since he can't lock Cousins up long term.

Cousins said that Allen's way of saying "Kirk" doesn't bother him either. A team spokesman said Allen simply says it that way because of his accent (yeah, right).
"I've been called Kurt my entire life," Cousins said. "I remember having different teachers and instructors who would call me Kurt. It doesn't matter. It's not a big deal. Trust me, it's probably not as big an issue as some make it out to be."

What do you think would have happened with Nirvana if Kirk Cobain was still around? Would The Goo Goo Dolls still exist?

So when Cousins was a backup and the starter was trash, did the PA start playing "Where's Captain Kirk?"
