I just finished watching Warren Beatty's Reds for the thousandth time, but for the life of me I can't find any sources of who the interviewees are that are interspersed throughout the movie. I know they are credited in the film but not during the movie so it's impossible to know who is who. Can anyone point me to a source that could give me some clues? The only one I think I recognize is Henry Miller. I've read Will Durant's histories, but I don't think I can recognize him in the movie.

See the list of "witnesses" here: Thanks. It was frustrating in the pre-internet days to find out who was whom. The "witnesses" were a great idea but they should have been identified in the end credits via photo and name. I spent years wondering who most of them were. |

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it. It still doesn't help though with identifying particular interviews. I'm still lost as to who is who (when they are talking). Who are the women that are interviewed together in particular?

Try this: laborfilms.org/reds/ Go down the page, there are all faces with names, not the best picture but I could read them with a magnifier. Or just use the zoom. |
