I wonder what Darkseid will look like. Hopefully better than Incubus. I really think that with the right actor, they should just use makeup and prosthetics.

But imagine someone like Richard Armitage or Nonso Anozie in full body makeup for the part of Darkseid? They'd have one over Marvel with that regarding Thanos. The actor is actually on set with the other cast members.

Uahhaaaaaa it's so dumb. He really does resemble Ares a lot. Kinda follows the Peter Jackson LOTR archetype (Sauron's armor, Witch King's armor). The source material is pretty similar tho, so it's not like they're doing something totally different than teh comics. But the look in BVS definitely looked better (IMO) and less like Ares than this new JL version of Steppie. Honestly I think it's a little boring to basically get "evil space viking" as the villain but if that's what DC fans want then I don't mean to complain.

Yea the giant space demon from BVS was the coolest design yet for these boss characters the DCEU loves so much. And we're probably not gonna see it again.

You could make the argument that his appearance in BvS would've made for a generic looking alien, especially for the main villain of a movie.

I wonder what Darkseid will look like. Darkseid will be even more badass. Who else will control Steppenwolf.

Heh, I actually agree with you, but I would prefer that to the current design.
