The pie-eating scene that Rooney does in A Ghost Story is amazing. She chows down, and you can hear her crying and see a tear on her nose. I don't know how she did that, except by magic! I was impressed.

I think it's hard to compare them at this relatively early stage in Mara's career but both are talented. Todd Haynes' film 'Carol' (2015) in which they co-star is a compelling melodrama.
