Can’t believe I haven’t responded to this before. I absolutely second @fjh’s recommendations of Ghostwatch (one of the very greatest ghost-story pictures) and The Stone Tape. I haven’t seen many of the other ones, but I’ve heard that Something Evil is quite good. (Also Duel.)
At the risk of recommending a made-for-TV horror that isn’t very scary, I’ve long recommended Tower of Terror (1997); for a picture based on a theme-park ride, it’s remarkably accomplished, with a genuine love of the ‘30s and a solid plot and acting.

Not strictly 'horror', but creepy and has an undertone of the supernatural: 1974's Reflections of Murder, a startlingly good remake of the 50's French thriller Diabolique. Stars Tuesday Weld, Joan Hackett and Sam Waterston, and is light years better than the crappy big-screen '96 remake of Diabolique starring Sharon Stone.
1971's Paper Man, another thriller with elements of quasi-chiller is also creepy fun, though it tanks out slightly at the end. Still, it's both spooky and has neat retro elements of early computer systems being used in a college prank gone awry. Stars Dean Stockwell in his 'frizzy-hairdo' days, and a young Stefanie Powers.

I'm in the mood to watch a made-for-TV horror movie. Anyone have recommendations? I'm especially wanting one on YouTube, as it would be the easiest to access, but I'll take any others you might like. Thanks! Well, I don't know if you're still in the mood, but this particular sub-genre happens to be my favorite. Here's a nice start for ya! And the last time I checked, they were all on YouTube. "The Initiation of Sara" "Summer of Fear" "A Howling in the Woods" "The Spell" "How Awful About Allen" "Die Sister Die" "Death Cruise" "Amityville Horror IV: The Evil Escapes" "Paper Man" "Along Came a Spider" "Out of Contention" "Home for the Holidays" "Midnight Offerings" "The Screaming Woman" Thanks. I’ll check them out.
