Two reasons: Parker wasn't officially an Avenger He was underage and would need his aunt to sign the Accord. Reboot!

I may be remembering it wrongly, but I thought the government required all superheroes to register, regardless of whether or not they are a member of the Avengers or any other superhero team.
Personally for me, I take it as Tony not wanting or needing to out Peter as long as he stays just a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and doesn't get involved in the big world-saving stuff, which he most certainly would as an Avenger.
As for Aunt May catching Peter at the end (almost sounds like an online video, especially with Marisa Tomei in the role -- or Sally Field, even), I could see that being a literal red "spider," as in it's later revealed -- or explained -- that Peter is just cosplaying, perhaps in an authentic replica suit provided to him by Tony as a reward for/souvenir of his "internship."

If I recalll that was the beef in the Civil War comics..everyone had to register In the MCU (and Agents Of SHIELD) it is The Avengers should no longer be a a private organisation, should work under supervision of UN and members should be registered. In Agents Of SHIELD it extended to registering "enhanced" SHIELD Agents as well

SMH retconned it so that the Accords never existed. That's why Spider-Man doesn't have to register. Because SMH retconned out the Accords.

This is your response to not being spoonfed by the movie the way DC would spoonfeed you?

You dumb motherfucker as usual. The Accords weren't retconned in anyway as the film mentions them. You do realize that the Accords only apply to the Avengers. The whole point of the Accords was that other countries didnt like it when the Avengers were operating on their soil without proper authority. I don't particularly see Spider-Man, a 15-yr old kid taking a flight all the way to Europe and causing mass destruction in his wake trying to stop a bad guy. Plus, Peter would had to register if he wanted to be an Avengers. That's why he set up the whole press conference, so the world would know Peter's Spider-Man. Not that hard to understand.
