Served two cans of it on spaghetti for lunch last week. The "pizza" in it is like little flat dumplings and are somewhat disturbing to eat. Decision was unanimous as to the negativity of the experience. One of the diners had eaten it as a soup and said it was even less palatable plain. Survived but won't get it again. So there you are.

After eating it twice, I agree. Unfortunately, I bought six cans as it was being discontinued. I plan to take the remaining four unopened cans back to get my money back.

That's actually pretty odd. Campbell's in my view almost always hits it out of the park with those Chunky cans.

But I think we can both agree that for the most part they put out a quality product. Although I'm not a huge fan of the vegetable stuff.

They are handy for taking in the camper for fast meals and for lunch at work when the microwave is working. That poptop is great! I find that the beef ones need to be diluted just a little as they are too darn thick,. More like eating gravy than soup. Rinsing the can with a little water (probably 1/2 cup tops) helps. My fav is the chicken with white and wild rice. Unfortunately, they ALL tend to be too much on the salty side! Fast and convenient trump gourmet eating !

The chicken with wild rice is probably one of my favorites also. I also really like the clam chowder one and there's some corn chowder bacon thing I can't think of what it's called?

JaymanBulletin ! Stop the presses. This just in. It's "Clam and Corn Chowder with Bacon". It was hiding on the pantry shelf behind a can of Regular New England Clam Chowder. Have not yet actually tried this one. They get bought when on sale and sort of stockpiled (Pun intended ! .. sorry!)

I will refer to you from now on for all my very important food questions! Clam and Corn Chowder with Bacon is probably Campbell's greatest invention.

I don't know why, but most of those store bought "Pizza" flavored products are not very good...
I've made my own pizza soup/stew which is much better.
Maybe it has something to do with adding different toppings?
Feel free to experiment with different toppings...
You could always scoop the stew onto cooked pasta, like macaroni, and skip the saltine crackers.
It's not as good as a real store bought pizza... but if money is tight and you can't order out, it is cheaper to make. (It also reheats better...)
I also find it tastes better than those store bought "soups"... especially if you are not a fan of Pepperoni or Sausage.
