YIKES! I thought you was trolling (I should know better) holy nikes!
It seems he is tired of Lebrons BS can you blame him? Im sure they can trade him for another big talent, Lebron is an awesome passer, he can do the PG thing. Carmelo? Boogie Cousins?
Man....this is fn out of no where. I wonder what legit happened behind the scenes. I clicked on a few articles, maybe I missed it, @screamingtreefrogs you got any other info? Again their are a few links on this, maybe one knew more than another and I didnt see it.
Lebron isnt gonna want "future assets."
If they do get future assets, the east is blown up wide fn open. Boston, 76ers, Cleveland will be in the mix but this could be interesting, I mean the east is weak as it is.
I swear he better (Kyrie) not come to the fn west!

Honestly I think Kyrie was probably frustrated by all the bullshit talk of Lebron going to LA if Cleveland somehow didn't "shape up" and win another championship. Lebron James wants to be known as the best player in the world and wants all the credit when things go right, but he never takes any of the blame when things go wrong. He pressures his own GM to make roster changes according to his whims, then goes to Twitter and puts out bitchy passive-aggressive tweets saying he doesn't have enough talent around him. He singlehandedly got a great coach fired, and undermined him by literally boxing him out of team huddles, all so he could have a puppet coach installed. He caused major problems for Kevin Love during the time when Love was trying to get acclimated to Cleveland's system, once again with bitchy passive aggressive tweets about "fitting in instead of fitting out." Who wants to play with that drama queen? Worse, of all the championships Lebron has, none of those rings would be on his fingers if it weren't for guys like Mike Miller, Ray Allen and Kyrie himself, who singlehandedly put their teams back into those games when Lebron had given up. So if you're Kyrie do you want to stay on that Cleveland team knowing King Drama Queen is almost certainly bolting for the Lakers the next year? Do you want to stay there for another year of Drama Queen pulling his passive aggressive bullshit and blaming everyone but himself when the team loses?

Youre right btw. Imagine if Greg puts in Duncan, Lebron misses the 3, and Duncan gets the rebound. No Allen shot, Lebron goes 2-6 in the NBA finals. Kyrie, has 4 destinations he wants. Number 1: 1. San Antonio (UH OH) 2. Knicks (Carmelo for Kyrie? IDK) 3. TWolves (IDK what they could do. Teague, prospects and picks?) 4. Heat (Dragic and a 1st round pick for Kyrie? Dragic and Waiters for Kyrie? Who knows). Youre right, I wanna add more, I cant. I agree with all you said, Lebron is a fn diva. "I need more help, wahhhh." Didnt Miller go on fn fire? (I Apologize I forgot what game but didnt the guy just go nuts for 3?) Ray Allen saved his legacy No Kyrie, no 1-3 comeback. If Im Kyrie and the Spurs somehow trade for me, adios!

Except none of that is accurate. Kyrie Irving considered requesting trade after Cavs won titleJuly 21, 2017 by Darryn AlbertKyrie Irving’s discontent with the Cleveland Cavaliers had apparently been festering for even longer than we had thought. In his original report about Irving asking out of Cleveland, Brian Windhorst of ESPN also reveals the All-Star guard considered asking for a trade from the Cavs after they won the NBA title in 2016 but ultimately decided against it. Winning a championship usually has a way of curing whatever ills a team may be battling, but the fact Irving was even considering requesting a trade during the Cavs’ post-title victory lap suggests his frustration was very deep-seated.

TY, again it was all guess work, all we had was guessing. I couldnt find anything. So tvvm for why he wants out. I do feel there is more to do it, but only Kyrie can tell us the truth.

It's all good man, my reply was more aimed at the previous poster, who said "Lebron to the Lakers" was the trigger. Which it clearly wasn't..

Maybe it wasn't the trigger after 2016 but it's likely a factor now, and could very well be the breaking point. The article you linked simply says his dissatisfaction goes back further than this year and has been festering for a while -- it doesn't say what Irving's beef is, it doesn't rule out anything, it simply tells us this was an issue even before the Cavs lost a frustrating series 4-1. If you're Kyrie Irving and you think Lebron is going to bolt for LA after this season, do you stay and play through more miserable years, or do you use the considerable leverage you have now to make a trade happen? I'm sure the list of grievances Irving has is long and varied, so no, this new article doesn't invalidate anything I wrote. It just adds more fuel to the fire. nutsberryfarm 🏜 Irving is only 25 dude! Most guys in the NBA are still developing at 25. He's got many years of good basketball ahead of him if he stays healthy. shadyvsesham Yup it was Mike Miller who brought the Heat back from the brink to win Lebron's first ring. A lot of things went wrong for the Spurs and went right for the Heat for that win, and Lebron wasn't the impetus behind them, it was the role players and veterans on his team. Which is fine, that's why those guys are there, to contribute and provide a spark off the bench. But if you remember, Lebron himself was defeated, his body language was awful, and he'd basically given up. And yeah, if not for those extremely clutch buckets by guys like Miller, Ray Allen and Kyrie, Lebron would still be a talented player without a ring.

And here is Woj basically saying the same thing I wrote: www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/20125888/kyrie-irving-trade-request-shows-learned-lebron"Dictate terms before they're dictated to you." Kyrie is being proactive by skipping town when he has leverage, rather than waiting for James to abandon the team, at which point Cavs ownership has little incentive to honor Kyrie's request to play elsewhere. All the rumors and drama surrounding Lebron's future and his eye on LA have certainly contributed to Kyrie's thought process.
