Do you Like My Idea for a "MYSTIQUE" Spin-Off Movie.....YES or NO ?
Here is my idea below!
"When the villain Mystique (played by Rebecca Romijn) makes a failed attempt to assassinate both the U.S. President and Professor Charles Xavier (played by Patrick Stewart) in a Massive Bombing at the White House which does kill the U.S. Vice President and over 100 others (many of whom are mutants), Wolverine (played by Hugh Jackman), Nightcrawler (played by Alan Cumming), and Beast (played Kelsey Grammer) decide (against the wishes of Xavier and the other X-Men) to go after Mystique. After several days, they learn that she has escaped to Europe and so they travel to Europe and while they search for her there, they cross paths with a U.S. Special Forces Team that is also in pursuit of Mystique. After 2 failed attempts by both parties to capture Mystique (first in London, England and then in Paris, France), they choose to work together to find Mystique and capture or kill her (if necessary). They find her again in Cairo, Egypt and come extremely close to capturing her but fail again after Mystique kills several members of the Special Forces team (including the team's Captain) and wounds Beast (after he tries to reason with her). Still Wolverine convinces Nightcrawler, Beast (who is still wounded), and the remaining Special Forces team members to continue the chase and again after several days, they locate Mystique in Sydney, Australia and go after her and again just like in Cairo, Mystique kills more members of the Special Forces team, fights off Wolverine, and leaves on a plane but this time she has taken Nightcrawler (whom she captured, drugged, and then tied up) with her. Wolverine, Beast, and the last surviving Special Forces team member (which will be a female character) try to stop Mystique from taking off with the kidnapped Nightcrawler but they fail and Mystique escapes, not before though Beast is able to place a small tracking device onto her plane before he was forced off of it during the attempt to stop her. They track Mystique all the way down to Antarctica and to a small abandoned Naval Station (from World War 2) which Magneto had once made his base. There they have a Final Showdown with Mystique which in the end (after a long and brutal 1 on 1 fight against Wolverine which happens after she is able to separate him from Beast & the Female Team Member who then find Nightcrawler) results with Mystique being captured and taken back to the United States where she is then locked away inside a Special Inpenetrable Fortress Type Prison which was specifically made only for Enemy Mutants. Once there however, Mystique is able to escape from her cell, proceed to another level in the Prison (during which she attacks and kills many prison guards), and then once on that level opens the only cell that is on it and when she does, out of the cell comes Magneto (played by Sir Ian McKellan) and the first words that he says to her are "Been Busy My Dear ?" and the movie ends."

It may be good, IDK, but the problem is we don't need solo movies for side characters. It's the exact same reason there is no Black Widow film, and I honestly don't know why so many fans don't understand that. These characters, while great, do not drive a larger narrative.

That's because they made them into side characters. Any character can be a leading character. But as a shapeshifter character leading a movie I'd rather see Morph instead of Mystique.

No, she's a side character, and that is why there is no long running Mystique solo series.
It would be like making a Lord of the Ring sequel starring Pippin, or a Harry Spin Off with Ron. They are side characters.

For the X-men movies, yes. But a Mystique movie she wouldn't be a side character. She has had self titled series before. She was also leader of the Brotherhood. She was a main character in an X-Factor series. Like I said before, I would rather a Morph movie than a Mystique movie. She is a villain and I don't want to see an anti-hero Mystique movie. Another thing. In the PT, Mystique isn't a side character. She's in the Logan spot as the main Action Girl.

In DOFP she is like X1 Rogue but with action scenes. In XMA she is like X3 Storm but without action scenes.

Yeah, I don't really need a Mystique film, she already had way more spotlight than she deserved in this franchise because Jennifer Lawrence was playing her (it's just ridiculous that Mystique of all characters had more spotlight in the films than the likes of Cyclops and Storm).

Ok, you're missing that there isn't going to be a mystique movie, and the reasons are the ones I listed. So do with that what you will, but I'm just telling you why.

Didn't Bryan Singer say once that he thought that there should be a "MYSTIQUE" Spin-Off Movie ?

Both trilogies have the two apposing leaders and the action person in the middle with leanings toward Xavier so they'd be a good guy. Xavier is the same as Obi Wan Kenobi across all 6 movies (both franchises). He's the wizard character in the hero's journey. In the PT, Xavier is the wizard/mentor in training, until he gets to the point he is the full wizard (end of Apocalypse). Notice that he never really takes part in the action in the PT. He coaches from the sidelines. He fails with Mystique (action girl/Anakin) and tries again with Logan (action guy/Luke with some Han). Also, I'm not saying she is literally doing the same things that Logan did in the OT.

Well, Xavier did fight Apocalypse. In a mental battle. That's not action man fighting. That's wizard fighting.

Mystique got spotlight before JLaw became big with First Class. It has more to do with Singer being in love with Ultimate X-Men, where the character had a history with Xavier.

Or that Singer likes the villains more than the title characters. You know more about Magneto's history than you do about Xavier's. You know his grandfather planted a tree, he has a mom and his father (?) made a bomb shelter. And he grew up with Mystique. Which is more about Mystique than Xavier. Ultimate X-men was more of an excuse to put more Mystique into it.

X2 was heavily modeled after Return to Weapon X from Ultimate X-Men. Then Singer wanted to write for Marvel on Ultimate X-Men. Recently, we had Jean having Phoenix dreams about the end of the world. Which is a start up rip off of Ultimate X-Men.
