Always liked her music but you should check her out in My Blueberry Nights. Not only was she very good in it but it was a good movie .

I like the debut album. Not quite my favorite type of music, but very nice to listen to in the background.

I was never into her music when I first heard some of her songs playing on the radio or in commercials advertising her album.
However, lately I've been hearing songs from her that I hadn't heard on the radio or in ads, and I actually like some of these.
My three favourites would be...
'Young Blood'
'Sunrise'
'Those Sweet Words'

I remember first hearing on radio Come Away With Me on earphones half asleep....then woke my then wife up scrabbling for a pen to jot it down , as it entranced me big time. We didn't of course have Shazam then. A week or so later bought the album and was often on our playlist at work.....went down well with staff and customers (Antique shop)
Bit of a surprise to later find out she was Ravi Shankar's daughter who I was very familiar with through the Concert for Bangla Desh and the Beatle connection.
Love her work and vibe and also her sister Anouska is like their father....a devastatingly brilliant sitar player.

I was never really big on her music, but I recently came across a video of her doing a tribute to Chris Cornell from Soundgarden. About a week after his death she played the same venue in Detroit where Soundgarden played their last show and she did a cover of Black Hole Sun. I thought it was a pretty cool version.
