Seems pretty iconic, but it was a fad device, time for a comeback

I think the Power Glove was more of a gimmick, than it was useful. The TV ads didn't make it seem easy to use.
I never had one, so maybe I just never understood it's appeal...
But, I knew a couple of NES Gamers who had one, and they never praised it. They quickly went back to using standard controllers.
To be honest, I could only think it would be useful for boxing games, but as I said, The NES Gamers I knew, went back to using standard controllers instead.
However, I will admit, it did LOOK cool!

Remember when motion control was the next big thing? I'm still pissed I wasted money on a Kinectโ. Was there one good game for that thing? Maybe Eden?

Was there one good game for that thing? That was the problem with the Power Glove... The TV Ad showed how it could be used with the game, "Mike Tyson's Punch Out", and with that game it looked like it might work great... But NES also tried to show how it could be used for other types of games, including the driving game, "Rad Racer". That looked like it wouldn't work great at all... And "Super Mario Bros"? It looked even harder, and rather pointless. Sadly there were not many "boxing" games for NES, that you could use the Power Glove with. It's like the NES Robot... There were only a couple of games that were designed to be used for that... Just a gimmick to increase sales for the enire NES System. Interestingly, from what I hear, the robot was junk, and the couple of games that were designed for it took too long to play... Complete waste of money... The only good accessory other than the standard controllers, was the Light Gun. But again, the Light gun could only be used with shooting games. I spent many enjoyable hours playing "Duck Hunt". Even though My NES still works (At least as of the last time I tried it...), the Light Gun, sadly, doesn't work with modern TVs.
