I think that film is going to take place at the same time as Infinity War, and here's why.
We were all wondering how both Ant Man & Captain Marvel would have movies in between Avengers 3 and 4 if those films are related, and it seems they have to be in many ways. Surely Thanos is still the villain in Avengers 4.
And we just found out that one of those questions was answered, Captain Marvel is a prequel to the entire MCU, which is great actually. I love that.
So I think Ant Man won't have to go that extreme, but will take place right around the same time with the films events ending as he also realizes what's happening in the bigger picture with Thanos.

Captain Marvel is confirmed not to appear on iw right? (Post credit is a must) but isn't ant-man confirmed? i guess not, just checked and he isn't in the sdcc poster. I'm a little disappointed... I always assumed his movie was right before iw, but your theory makes sense now.

Or they don't want the two on the team. It's an injustice.

Don't forget about Avengers 4! That might be the true payoff to it all.

What? Did somebody say it didn't count? I interpreted your touché wrongly. I'm sorry. as before: the meaning of words and abysmal interpretation skills. In your defense he set the wrong accent, and you were man enough to admit you were wrong for once.
As a reward: The term in fencing in used as an acknowledgement of a hit by one's opponent. In civilized discussions it is used as an acknowledgement during a discussion of a good or clever point made at one's expense by another person.
Now say touché please, as a sign that you have fully understood and are better mentally...

He's a sock troll. He can't help it. Barely worth acknowledging and stupid, to boot.
