Came out a week or so ago Vick stated Kaep should get rid of the Afro. I agree. Vick crumbled to public outcry and 'apologized'. Newton was just on Sportscenter - looking like a cartoon character with a dyed Goatee in a straw hat like he's going to be sippin' Margaritas in Margaritaville. Now In all likelihood I'm going to get tarred and feathered in this thread. Let one's 'work' speak for the themselves I say. That's the problem here folks - Kaep and Newton need to redeem themselves a bit. I don't have a problem with Odell Beckham - guy is arguably a Top 3 receiver in the league. Why not 'clean it up' a bit and be all business looking to prove the haters and doubters wrong since your 'play' has sucked rather recently - keep your mouth shut and pretty much show you're all business? What's your viewpoint on this? The QB position is arguably the most important in sports - why not act like a leader and clean it up a bit? Who's with me? Thoughts? Discuss!  |

And I'm very disappointed in Vick from cowarding down from his stance. He just got a job under Andy Reid again - not so much a job - but an 'intern' with the Chiefs. Kaep looks like a slob. Clean it up. Newton looks like somebody more concerned about his 'appearance' than a leader. QB of a team? I want a terminator who is all business and has his sh*t together. |

Still loling at the "do not want" job on that fumble. kind of showed his manhood. it was such an awkward spot. i'm in the camp he was putting his body in jeopardy and it would have turned out extremely ugly.... BUT..... it's the Super Bowl and you're the QB and the leader of the team - you put your body in jeopardy if you're 'the man' hell. i'm watching Shark Week on Discovery right now. clip of two 'swimmers' in the ocean - one got attacked by a shark. the woman 'reacts' and doesn't care about her own life or safety and tries to rescue the other guy. how many times do you read or hear about stories about people putting themselves in danger whether it be running in burning buildings, trying to rescue somebody from a car wreck. even in these situations somebody does have a second to react - but you just 'react'. that Newton 'flinch' - especially if i was a Carolina fan - will always stick in my head when i see one of his ridiculous press conferences dressed like Michael Jackson |

Who cares? I don't watch football for their looks. If I were primarily interested in looks I'd watch female beach volleyball instead.
