If you decide to stop watching athletes and/or teams due their being bitches, you're not gonna have anyone to root for. With the exception of the egregious thugs such as Greg Hardy, it's probably best if you just ignore all the off-field shit and just enjoy the game with the assumption that they are ALL bitches. Except for Mike Trout. Sure I can. I'm throwing myself at Markelle Fultz these days because he's saying and doing all the right things like a nice lil choir boy. That guy used to be Wentz until I found out about his love for guns and killing defenseless animals. You know why it's both awesome and terrible to follow sports nowadays? The internet. You have access to total information nearly instantaneously. Back then was it common knowledge about Mickey Mantle's off-field behavior? Did people know of Wilt Chamberlain's 10,000 women? How much of an asshole did people think Ty Cobb was, or Ted Williams? Nobody knew that shit, and the journalists didn't write about it. Now you know everything about LeBron James including what his dick looks like, and it's just too much info. Nobody is perfect, not even Fultz. So my opinion is that these guys were always jerk offs, it's just that Twitter and TMZ are ruining it for everyone. Tiger Woods was the most awesomely greatest human being since Jesus until he wasn't. Feel free to root for and against whoever you want, but you're just wasting your breath with this.

Who cares? I don't watch football for their looks. If I were primarily interested in looks I'd watch female beach volleyball instead. I care. That's why I made this thread fella. Newton and Kaep suck. They should clean up their act - just like Michael Vick initially stated before he cowered down to 'The Man'. Yeah, I know that *you* care. My "who cares"? was force of expression to signal that I don't. Anyway, I agree that Kaep sucks. Not only he is not that good as a quarterback, his kneeling protests got old fast. As for Newton, not so much. He behaves like a jerk and dresses like a clown but on the field he actually has talent. His off-field behavior and how he dresses is of little consequence. It's not like he is getting involved in rapes and domestic violence and drug use and so on. He's just a snappy dresser with an odd taste. His on-field behavior on the other hand is more concerning because his celebrations irritate the opponents and then they hit him hard which may shorten his career and hurt his team. I wonder why his coach doesn't curb this behavior. But during the plays he is a fine quarterback. This part, nobody can take away from him. Not perfect of course, like we saw in the Super Bowl against the Broncos, and the poor last season - but he does have his moments of greatness. I think more than half the teams in the league would like to have him. He does qualify as top 16, maybe top 12 or in good years top 10.

Might want to stop riding his Nutz Bigcat

Might want to stop riding his Nutz Bigcat If you want to judge him based on only one season, then if we were to pick the season previous to that one, you'd have to change your mind. Yes, last season sucked for them, but it doesn't mean Cam Newton has no talent. The QB can't win games all on his own and many of the lost games were close, not to forget he played injured and banged up in many games. Anyway, whatever. I don't care for him one way or the other; I'm more a lover of the game than of specific teams or individual players. All that I'm saying is that when things click for the Panthers, it is quite obvious that Cam Newton is a talented player, regardless of his antics or looks, and I enjoy watching him play when he is performing at this peak. I think he gets a lot of bad rap for his cocky juvenile attitude but during plays it is fun to watch him and off-field regardless of how he dresses, his is decent; there is a lot worse in the league (as in rapists, child abusers, spousal abusers, drug addicts, and even murderers when Cam is mostly a well-behaved guy so it is hard to understand all the hatred he endures). ------------- Edit - @screamingtreefrogs Coincidently I just saw an article with NFL predictions saying this: "It's only taken one year - one Super Bowl hangover-induced, injury-riddled, unlucky, questionably officiated year - for so many fans to forget how good Cam Newton actually is. Make no mistake: Cam is a certain top five (maybe top three) NFL quarterback, and he'll reemerge as a leading MVP candidate this year." link
