It's OK so far, but I don't think that it will sustain in the long term as there doesn't seem to be a way to attract new users to replace those who will stop posting.

its better, simply because there is actual possibilities for communication, the old forums were flooded with the walking dead or trollified nailbiters. lets not forget the nae-bobs who would contradict everything anyone said for lulz.

Not impressed sadly. It's a clone of IMDB v 1.0 - the one good thing is being able to see who the moderators are. Now we know their bias not just suspect it.

Well, since they've yet to censor anyone yet (as far as I know), that shouldn't be much of a concern. p.s. Cons
- The IMDb 'nesting' feature was better than this 'inline' version.
- Very few new posters. It will take time before the effect is felt.
- The Anti-Theist Union and the Catholic League don't pay me nearly as much as they did on the IMDb.
- Marv isn't here.
- I have to learn a bunch of new shit. Gawd, I hate that.
- All you teenagers get off my lawn.
Pros
- The admin will actually communicate with posters.
- No automated censorship. Now innocent words like 'Shitake' and 'chink' (in the armor) won't be bleeped.
- We have our old emoticons again.
- More options for fonts and such. The colors, man. The colors!
- Embedded pics and vids.
- Multi-poster private discussions.
- There seem to be more women here now.
- Fewer trolls (for the moment).

Would you care to elaborate on what bias the admins have against you Ada? And specifically how that manifests itself. Are you suggesting posters may be trading sexual favours to the admins for preferential treatment? After all that's what you claimed on the original RFS board after your posting history was wiped,of course it had nothing to do with you saying gay men favour child rape. And if you're "not impressed" with this board why have you posted 477 times on it? Making you one of the top posters on the entire site. Sadly the board is not impressed with you either,because you add nothing of value to it. |

It has its pros and cons. I like that the software is modern, with all the fun stuff that brings - ability to post videos and images, having a good sized avatar, etc, etc.
There's not as many posters, which is a shame, but maybe it will grow.
Overall I like it more.
