Telemarketing phone calls. I get them everyday. I block them and they use different numbers to try to get through. I must have about 200 numbers on block.
ugh. i get them at least 3-5 times a week. Sometimes, they're not even in f'n english. and they're all spam-bots with recordings. it's never a live person, so you can't tell them to put them on a 'do not call' list. ugh.
or worse. They phone doesn't even ring and i get a voice mail from a telemarketer.
Worst mistake having my previous cell phone provider generate a southern california area code phone number
as soon as i can afford to, i'm changing mine to a local pennsylvania number. Although my friend's mom, who's line i'm on, she says she gets them as well.
Americans on IMDb who refer to a TV show being a "great BBC series" even though the show actually aired on ITV. This may shock some people, but a number of the British shows shown on PBS during the 1970s/1980s weren't from the BBC, but from ITV (or in some cases Channel 4). I've also seen people from other countries do this. It bugs me.
I have been watching british comedy for literally all but 5 years of my life. I have NEVER heard of 'classic bbc show'.
let it go let it go let your love open da door...
as my 3 1/2 year old niece sings it. much better message.
Ciara had an annoying song out a few years ago called "I'm out" with Nicki Minaj. My neighbor wouldn't stop blasting it. ughhh.
The lyrics say
"ladies, this your song so as soon as this come on you should get out on the floor go and get your sexy on"
For f's sake, I'm listening to you sing over music. That's a song. Do I need to be informed about it through the lyrics? come on now
ALSO, They can't get on the floor as soon as it comes on, Because you wait until the 3rd line to tell the ladies where to go. The song's already in progress before they know where to go. Therefore, they can't as soon as it comes on. ugh
Me ranting about telemarketers is very hard on the eyes and ears.
Tele-marketers. <shudder>
a wise man once said "If someone doesn't want responses to his/her posts, then s/he shouldn't post them. If someone wants specific users to not respond...well, that's too bad." (link)
other people chewing, smacking and slurping while they eat.
Oh, that's a good one! As bad as people who cant lift their feet when they wear slippers. Also, burping and farting. I'm a "guy", I get the humor. But have some fucking self control. I mean wtf? A very little bit of that shit goes a very long way.
Yep, I've cut cords with some friends over this. Tipping points are being invited as friend of a friend, only they're 40+ mins late & think it's laughably fun. Meanwhile I'd made time for them, got ready, found the place, only to spend nearly an hour with ppl who are all strangers. It'd be like showing up an hour earlier before meeting your friends, hanging out in a room/table of complete strangers. Good times that?
Sometimes though I kinda prefer it. I like being on time & getting lay of the land, reading menus, I feel like a bit of a host that way lols. That's when it's just ppl who know one another are meeting up.

I think it's a rude thing (as in they don't value someone else's time).
Hold on to 16 as long as you can. Changes come around real soon make us women and men.
My "sister" is someone who can never be on time, Or keep her phone consistently charged
She'll say she'll be there at noon then not show up until 1 am. and if you keep texting her phone she'll ignore it, and if you call it, She will blame the ringing of the call for killing her battery.
I can't drive, so she used to be the one to take me shopping until I was able to cut ties with her and move to another time zone. She acts like because walmart is open 24 hours, that so am I
hell when she was a practicing Jehoavh's witness, she couldn't even be on time for god. I'd go with her to her Kingdom hall when i lived with her because walmart and best buy were within walking distance of it. We'd show up when her service was 3/4ths of the way over, every time.

I know it's not personal because I see them live their lives that way - work, rest, & play. Zero sense of timing obligation. It just got tiring. Still acquaintances, just not hang outs on the regular. I mean, I still meet for movies & stuff like that because guess what - movie starts? I'm not waiting in the f'n lobby lols... they know that & also don't want to pay for lost time. As if ppl like me (I'm certain others they know experience this) aren't paying for their lateness also - extra parking fees, day off blocked from chores for naught, etc.

This whole thing is a constant, usually nonverbal, battle my wife and I have. She's one that takes until the last second to be ready, and she won't be seen if she's not completely preened, hoping I make up for any delay by my drive there. If I do say something, it's a brief fight, then the next couple of times she's ready an hour early saying she won't be the one to hold us up this time. Then it's back to the old stuff. So if you get run down by a white Honda Pilot, it's me trying not to be late.

If you wanna go all-in, just make yourselves late because of her. Late & racing? Late & speed limit next few times. Message sent.
