sostieDoes this puzzle involve the contents of the movies listed? If so then I'm wasting my time, for I haven't seen any of them.

sostieI can't figure out any connection whatever between the movies or their stars. It might help to know what I'm actually looking for. The name of another movie, or a star, or something else movie-linked?

sostieSorry, I haven't the foggiest. Can't get a connection either aurally, visually, or any other kind of -ally. Nothing fits together, and I haven't a clue what kind of answer I'm supposed to be looking for. Maybe someone else can do better. I'm beat.

alfromni, sostie, et al. OK, quick one to bring this thread back to life... Not really (I suppose one can argue "tenuously") movie-related, if that's OK with everyone... Nurse Snail Eyebrow Leopard Beard Spectacles Teeth

Nalkarj If it's not really movie-related is it literature related? Person? Animal vegetable or mineral? This. I mean, one could hypothetically say that it's movie-related... A difficult one to explain without giving it away.

NalkarjOne for you in return, and for anyone else of course: Movie related but not entirely so. 01. Story 02. Voyages 03. Post Office 04. Circus 05. Zoo 06. Caravan 07. Garden 08. Moon 09. Return 10. Lake 11. Canary 12. ? What is the link between the above clues? There is one clue missing. What is it?

NalkarjOke, Thanks. I've already tried the seven dwarfs, Father Brown, Mark Twain, Aesop, and Kipling. I'd hate to think I have to try Confucious et al too

Nalkarj As you like it Act 2 Scene 7 - A forest
JAQUES:
All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages. At first the infant, Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms. And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel And shining morning face, creeping like snail Unwillingly to school. And then the lover, Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier, Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard, --- (leopard) Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel, Seeking the bubble reputation Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice, In fair round belly with good capon lined, With eyes severe and beard of formal cut, Full of wise saws and modern instances; And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts Into the lean and slipper'd pantaloon, With spectacles on nose and pouch on side, His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide For his shrunk shank; and his big manly voice, Turning again toward childish treble, pipes And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all, That ends this strange eventful history, Is second childishness and mere oblivion, Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.
Am I right sir?!

Not exactly. The first submission just. Not easy. I checked through most of UK literature first. Then came the usual Eureka moment. How are you coping with the one I set?
