Ugh - - died from ALS. Horrible.
His plays should be at the top of his obituary: True West, Curse of the Starving Class, and Buried Child are all spectacular. I would have loved to have seen Philip Seymour Hoffman and John C Reilly switching roles in True West.

Remember him from THE RIGHT STUFF, Tom Wolfe's take on the USA space program RIP Is he the guy that did the voice over for 'A Christmas Story'? O.T. - I love me a good 'Shepherd's Pie' - mashed potatoes and meat - pretty much like a chicken pot pie but you have the glory of mashed potatoes in there.
