1. A government building gets blown up, killing a prominent government official. A villain manipulates heroes into fighting each other. Which movie is this?
Is it Captain America: Civil War (May 2016)? Or is it Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (March 2016)?
2. Peter Parker's friend's dad is the villain. The villain pieces clues together to figure out that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. The villain doesn't tell anyone about Spider-Man's identity. Spider-Man and the villain fight. Spider-Man wins. Which movie is this?
Is it Spider-Man: Homecoming (July 2017)? Or is it Spider-Man (May 2002)?
3. The elevator of a national monument gets blown up. Fortunately, the hero arrives just in time to save the girl/woman that he likes from getting killed. Which movie is this?
Is it Spider-Man: Homecoming (July 2017)? Or is it Superman II (June 1981)?

The first one can't truly be Marvel copying DC, because although the two movies were released two months apart, you have to realize that movies finish being filmed abd edited together months before they are released. So, Civil War could not have copied BvS, because it would have been completed before that movie was released. So that one is irrelevant. You are correct in noting that both Spider-Man movies feature the villain being the father of one of Peter's friends. However, this happened with quite a few villains in the comics (though incidentally not the Vulture himself), so I'm fine with it. I haven't even seen Superman II, so I can't respond to that one.

Someone with superhuman abilities, carrying a shield, leads a multi-cultural team of soldiers - who at one point are all in London where they go to a local pub - in an attempt to defeat the Germans during a World War. The main villain and their scientist are developing a super weapon. The superhuman falls in love with an Allied agent in the process, but one of the happy couple dies when they sacrifice themselves whilst destroying an aeroplane that is carrying said weapon. Is This Captain America First Avenger or Wonder Woman ?The offspring of a "god" with mytical weapons, from a world unknown and secluded from regular folk, travels to the "real world" and fights a foe from their home. On the way they fall in love with a regular human, and have humouress moments when trying to adapt to their new surroundings. Since neither Steve Rogers nor Peggy Carter died in The First Avenger, that doesn't apply to The First Avenger so the only correct answer is Wonder Woman. Since Diana's home is Themyscira and Ares has never even been to Themyscira, that doesn't apply to Themyscira so the only correct answer is Thor.

When they bring Trevor back, you'll be backpedaling on this SO hard... As for Ares, he probably has been to Themyscira and once that's shown you'll be backpedaling SO hard...

Mere speculation and vapid supposition to badmouth a good film. If they would really bring Trevor back that would significantly damage this movie and it's emotional gravitas! It would in large part reduce WW to being a stake-less MCU movie, exactly what MCU-detractors criticise so much. It would still be the best MCU movie though.

I know. I just thought I would mix it up with him by asserting that he's overweight. I don't think I've been mean to him in that specific way before.

I don't think I've been mean to him in that specific way before. funny, I always imagined him grossly overweight until you published this gif. The gif well explains his typing limitations though, and thus his generic boiler plate answers.
Limitations aside, for an MCU fanboy samy is quite though and sturdy, I will give him that. Not like the meltdownraptor and his ilk who cowardly run away crying into their echo chamber all the time (cf his hillarious exchange with mellowreviewer in the Spiderman thread - priceless).

Nope, just taking the piss out of DC-Fan. And yes, I'm pretty sure they'll ignore whatever damage bringing Steve back would do to the movie just to bring him back.
