Hope they get a proper spanking, biggest nuisance in football over the last weeks. Why do you hate Bayern Munich so much?

I've only seen one half-decent game from Bayern during this preparation, the one against Chelsea. Everything else was awful.
On Saturday there's the DFL supercup. Only thing is, Dortmund look even worse. Major problems with Bosz's new system, and right now losing at home to Atalanta.

Bayern 0 L'Pool 2 (Mane, Salah)
The Germans with most of the possession but very slow in their build-up. In stark contrast to Liverpool who look lethal in their breakaways. Mane having a lot of fun and well supported by Firmino and Salah.
Very entertaining

Thats Sturridge out till March. Fingers crossed that its his new celebration.
Nobodys gonna take him off us now. Forgot about Solanke
Good run out for the lads Worried about Mane getting kicked/injured off the pitch in the new season Maybe Moreno will be handy in the CL games after all, cos he's shit in the PL

Well, that doesn't look good. Not like this has never happened before; remember when in Salzburg a Red Bull's hoard stomped over them 3-0 under Guardiola. But still.

Who expected hattricks from James Since he is the super-duper-hyper-mega-giga-player, the über-singing of the pre-season by the master minds Uli H. and Harl-Heinz R. Fuck Paris and this irrelevant Neymar-deal. 220+ million...this is btw the new benchmark if some people like it or not...anyway: as ist seems the next proper burial for the hopes in a good season...Napoli 1:0 ahead. Either we will get in serious trouble, or the Bundesliga is no longer worth anything. But this level can never be enough to become champions for the 6th time in a row. Holy shit. As good as our national team(s) might be, our league is in a dramatic decline.

I don't think throwing money at the problem is the solution. And I'm confused why you keep criticizing Kalle and Uli here for not buying expensive star players, on the other hand you're raving about Rangnick and would have him replace the two at Bayern today rather than tomorrow. Surely you don't believe he'd be more ready to buy five ready made star players for 100m each? More likely he'd sell half of your star players for being too old, not behaving up to standards, and having too many tattoos.

You call it throwing money, I call it a strategic investment. But James is for me what Sanches is for you: I hate him - it's not fair, it's not rational, but I hate him for he is a symbol of what I hate so much about Hoeneß and Rummenigge. Bragging around big time and then they're not even falling short - there is nothing coming from them. Yeah: I want some bold singings, some luxery...but Paris shows us the way, and Bayern is standing small. With James we do not even deserve to play in the CL. He is unworthy. I never liked him, some sort of one hit wounder - golden boat at the WC - but I didn't care much when Real signed him. But now, this lackluster in Munich...as the big "star" player?! Austerity Bayern sucks!

I don't need that personality cult around "star players" and overhyped/overpriced "super talents". When we became World Champions, everyone was going like "Portugal has Ronaldo, Argentina has Messi, Germany has a team". We didn't become World Champions because of fancy star players. The planned triumphal procession for Neymar's arrival in Paris disturbs me more than the excessive deal.
The other day I read that in the locker room in Leipzig there's a signboard saying: "ManNschafft Alles!" That's a great worldplay saying not only "you can achieve everything", but also "the team is everything".
And don't tell me there's no value in the market. Leipzig's entire front four (Forsberg, Werner, Poulsen, Sabitzer) were brought in for 17 million. You spent twice the money on Costa. Keita was brought in for 1.5m to Salzburg and for 15m to Leipzig. You paid what for Tolisso again? At Dortmund there's Weigl for 2m and Dembele for 15m. I don't see much evidence for Reschke being "Europe's best squad planner". Or is that all the fault of Uli and Kalle, who keep rejecting better and less expensive talents he suggests.
