Does anyone else remember this 8 part PBS documentary about Texas that aired in the mid '80s? Larry Hagman was the host and greatly resembled his Dallas persona complete with Stetson hat and suit (just like a proper 1980's Texas oil man). I live in Houston and recognize a great many of the locations that were shown. Our local PBS affiliate re-aired it a few years ago but I missed most of the episodes. I think I only saw the first two. I was wondering if anyone might know how I could find the show and watch them again. I found someone on youtube who has 1, 6, 7, and 8 but is missing the others. Any ideas? I've lived in Texas my entire life and it's wonderful seeing it the way it was during my late childhood. The 1980's were a great decade to live in Texas even with the oil crash that wiped out a lot of jobs in the early part of the decade around my area.

I can't help, but I wish there was a "Classic PBS" channel. Lots of great PBS shows in the archives which need wider exposure.
