Scrolling through the comments, it sounds awesome. Looks like Shakmann is Sapochnik level (which I had hopes he would be) and the battle is BOTB level.

It was pretty awesome. It felt less rushed than the previous episodes this season, and it did have a BOTB-vibe to it during one particular battle scene. You'll know what scene I'm talking about when you see it.
Solid 9/10 episode.

The battle itself is shorter than the Battle of the Bastards (about 11-12 minutes), but it's pretty brutal. Scale-wise I'd say it's pretty much the same.

Considering that the episode leaked is shorter than usual episode, Im assuming some parts of the war may have been cut. But then the profanities haven't been cutout, so no way to tell.

How much shorter is the episode that leaked? Leaked print could have been 3-4 minutes shorter. But then the show doesn't strictly maintain the length to the minute.

Agree. This episode is way better than the previous 3 episodes, especially the third episode, which i hated to the core. Interesting, I thought episode 3 was one of the best the show has ever done. I'm really surprised at the positive response the episode got. I don't get how it is the "best". The entire episode was to portray that Cersei could be as strong as Dany and the war between them is gonna be that of "war of equals". Well, it never was. Dany was always much stronger and it looked contrived. I hated the fact that they dumbed down Tyrion. Splitting the army was a big mistake, not the one Tyrion I knew would commit. Didnt Tyrion know that Casterly rock was of no importance to his ruthless siblings, given that he claims to know them more than anyone else? The entire war felt rushed and as if that's not enough duex-Euron-machina teleported to the Lannisport. Two inconsistencies right there. And Highgarden war was a clusterfuck. Didnt they know that they had to protect their kingdom before fighting for Dany? How could they not anticipate it? I wish Dany flew with Drogon to HighGarden before Jamie took it and killed my beloved Oleanna. Speaking of Queen of Thorns, 😢😢 she didnt deserve to die so miserably. And "tell that to Cersei" sounded so hollow, considering Cersei murdered her entire family and in a way, Cersei avenged Joffrey's death, though there were disastrous aftereffects due to his death mainly caused by Cersei's impulsiveness. QoTh deserved better death. (On a positive note I hope Jamie understands how stupid and impulsive Cersei was, in misjudging Tyrion's role and that has sown the seeds of doubt into Jamie's mind). And speaking of Euron, GoT fandom is disgusting in its love for Euron. What is he other than being a savage. Absolutely nothing brainy, just ruthless killing and show of strength, a very unidimensional character so far. He was very stupid that he actually believed that Cersei would marry him after the war. Why arent people of KL, hating Cersei? Didnt she just blow up the Sept and walk naked? Overall 6/10 for me. I may change my views, if in the future events happened in that episode had any future significance.
