i like it but not as much as his other films. A bit too incoherent at times in terms of narrative.

I think it's a beautiful film. My first thought when I think of 'Mirror' is always windswept grass.

The first time I saw it it went totally over my head, but I also instantly knew it's fine art as well. Every 10 or 15 years I see this film again and each time I saw it it unraveled new marvels to me (as I had more and more background information) .
One of the very best!

Tarkovsky didn't make a bad film IMO. I'd still rate Stalker as my personal favorite, but this is possibly his most poetic, abstract and dreamlike and therefore arguably the most Tarkovsky-esque.
