Granted... This has been the fastest paced season, yet: Every episode seems like a battle that would have been built up for half of a regular season.... But, da aaaaammmmmn! That means that there'll be 3 extra weeks of waiting for the next season.

Lol more than three extra weeks. We probably won't get Season 8 until 2019.

And i think its 6 in season 8
I think they could just make a 13 episode season in stead if what they are doing now.

I think they have to budget accordingly for the year.
Rumor has it that the final season's episodes are pretty long though.

The last season will be six episodes. The rumor circulating now is that each episode will be two hours long. I doubt it, but that would be awesome if it were true.

2025 for final season. Never for next book. GRRRRRRRRRR Martin has no clue how to finish and his ego is as huge as his belly so he doesn't want to copy the TV show. How ever the TV hacks decide to finish it is how it will end. Probably with constipated cersei single handedly killing all the white walker army and the dragons and raping every member of her family to death all while never changing the expression on her face.

I might become mad with happiness if all 6 episodes are 2 hour long. That do be like watching 6 awesome movies. But I don't think that will be the case as it is not really feasible. At most they will each be 60-75 minutes long. Only the last one may be longer than 75 minutes mark.

I have a feeling the Night King will turn one of the dragons into a zombie Dragon Walker and use it to break the wall. Then the season ends.

Yeah I am disappointed too. It should have been another 10 episode season. It has felt a bit rushed so far. I'm worried that there aren't enough episodes to wrap up the story properly. Let's home they change their mind and produce a few extra episodes.
They should have just stuck with the usual 10 episode seasons. Even if they had to push the release dates back even farther, maybe even skip having GOT air this year altogether. I'd rather wait longer and have it done right than have it be rushed. (Although I hope I am proven wrong, and the remaining episodes are enough to wrap up the show properly)

Adding more wouldn't help.
