What are your thoughts on this. To be honest - I don't like seeing Arn on TV after all these years. Obviously I'm not 'in the know' - and there's two sides to every story. To me somebody stabbing somebody - you have an intent to kill. Sid talks about the incident: link: Sid Talking to HannibalVader's recollection of the incident: Vader Talking to HannibalAgain - it may seem rather ignorant to judge not being there; 2 sides to every story - but it seems like Arn walked away without receiving any bad publicity for 'stabbing somebody' - self defense maybe? Is there a story behind the story? Because the whole thing to this day amazes me and I find it fascinating. Thoughts? Discuss.

I'll have to check out those clips later on. I remember hearing both sides to the story a long time ago but I just don't remember what they were. But Sid was the one that had to leave and not Arn.

Exactly. Self defense on Arn's part? Or did he have stroke backstage and was a politician to save his job. The man stabbed somebody with scissors. It just doesn't add up. Sid says he dropped charges. Huh? It's a fascinating incident in wrestling - I'm guessing everything hasn't been disclosed by all parties

I thought Sid was the guilty party of this. But that'll make for some good listens later on. I"m sure Arn is up on youtube giving his story as well.

I believe he discussed it there. That shoot sucked balls by the way. He didn't even want to expose the business. It was one of the worst shoots I"ve ever seen

I like the interview with Dave Meltzer the best LOL It was awesome. Meltzer gives it back to him and isn't taking his crap! Ole pauses for a bit stunned that somebody has stood up to him - and then continues on his hatred tirade of everybody on earth! The RF Video one is a riot though! Ole at his best - 'Quit being so goddamn dumb!!!!'

Not that I"m personally friends with him but buying tapes off him for so many years and I've had conversations with him. One thing I don't get is that he's been a fan almost as long as I have and he's watched all this footage and kept up with the business and sometimes it's like he's clueless about parts of wrestling history that he should know and comes off as so unprepared in some of these shoots.

Yeah don't get me wrong I used to get all his shoots in the 90's up till the early 2000's and he did some great ones. But sometimes he just drops the ball. But that Sean Oliver guy is really sharp and has no problem asking follow up questions on the fly and doesn't stick to any script he has in his hand. So I believe kayfabe commentaries took over as king of the shoot. Which podcast are you referring to. Raven was the interviewer? Or Raven was being interviewed and the interviewer wouldn't shut up? I always hated that. I saw that on a couple of old high spots shoots. The interviewer was so busy giving his own commentary that it took over the whole shoot. It's like the interviewer should've had somebody interview him if he wanted to make it so much about him

I enjoyed Raven as a wrestler and apparently he's highly intelligent - however he's brutal to listen to.

Oh ok. I liked him in ECW but not as much any place else. That's not the type of guy I want to listen to in a podcast though.

According to 2 Cold scorpio, he saw the whole thing. Or most of it. I listened to his account of it and it sounds pretty scary

I think it all comes down to Sid receiving only a few stab wounds, and Arn receiving around 20 stab wounds. If anyone had intent to kill, it might've been Sid. Hence the bad publicity.
Only in wrestling could you stab a coworker and still be able to go back to work for the same company and be promoted.
