Buffalo '66 comes to mind... I just saw one with Antonio Banderas "Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down! and was curious if there were any out there -- seems to be an interesting genre... Of course, I'd be more interested in an older movie, to see how they deal with dark themes, since they usually didn't exploit, and relied more on the writing.

Not the best Canadian movie. though William Shatner and Ava Gardner was in it. The Man who became a millionaire (Translated), the whole plot goes to hell because kidnapping the Prime Minister, when money is supposed to be transfered, the main man get's an asthmatic cough attack.

I should have been more specific, but does anyone know any classic kidnapping movies (pre-1980) with Stockhome Syndrome? That was the most interesting part in a movie someone mentioned, that I saw and loved "The Collector" which I gave a 9/10.
Thanks again!

Hitchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956). I'm going to go with another Hitchcock movie: The Lady Vanishes (1938)

Highway (2014). It's an Indian movie, and don't let that fact put you off. It's funny, poignant, cinematic and a visual treat.
