So it made 7.1 million opening weekend, almost on par with the 7.4 from the first tasm that made 39 million so I think it will end up with 30+ there but like I said Japan is a wild card so who knows? (Tasm2 opened to 4.1 million and ended up with 30 million) SMH couldn't even beat TASM's opening weekend? It's official. SMH is a huge FLOP! With an opening weekend double of that of the highest opening weekend for a DCEU film so far

It made 309 in the US and 710 ww. Was that a flop? 1. no, no, no, damn you, that is not trolling, that is making an argument! When will you people learn the meaning of terms and language?!
2. You obtuse fanboys are unable to think outside the false dilemma box, there is middle ground called all degrees and shades of disappointment; both films where below expectations due to character overexposure and reboot fatigue.
3. Good is a point of view, mcufan. Man of Steel and SMH are similar in almost every way, including their quest for easy money.
4. MCU sucks.

Comparing the opening to The Amazing Spider-man is worthless.
Back in July 2012, $1 = ¥79.75
Currently though, $1 = ¥109.5
In other words with today's exchange rate The Amazing Spider-man's ¥594 million opening would not be $7.4 million, it would be only $5.4 million.

Smash success in Japan can continue Homecoming's box office success. Fixed

Looks like Wonder Woman had an opening weekend of $4.3 million in Japan so a bit over half of Spider-man.
Spider-man Homecoming is at $21 million so far.
