There are some good ones out there. Taboo and Stranger Things are the first that come to mind.

There are some good ones out there. Taboo and Stranger Things are the first that come to mind. I agree I love Taboo and just heard two more seasons are coming, I was referring to stuff like Victoria and Manhattan, not to mention Mercy Street, none of those had any business as period pieces at all.

Depends. I like stuff like Victoria and Taboo but as I posted before, I fucking loathed Will and I love mashup fiction like that.

Interestingly I read that it drew complaints from both sides about its treatment of female characters. Apparently, either it was too rape happy like Game of Thrones or presented women as too independent for the period.
