Enjoy. Disclaimer: The usual. My thoughts: It looks as if it might be an even match for the F-22 Raptor. I saw an F-22 go invisible once (or invisible enough). If the Su-57 has a similar "Romulan cloaking device" then it will a bitch to draw a bead on it and shoot it down.

I laughed a lot at the cloaking bit. 👍 F-22 has camo paint that makes it look near-invisible in right conditions, designed specifically for both folks looking up, and anyone looking down. 👍 I have seen C-17s, and their camo works great in the right conditions. I wouldn't sweat Russian stuff that much. Sure, you do not want to be on the receiving end, but they have a habit of taking shortcuts and overhyped propaganda. What we called November-class submarines, they were their first SSNs, and at the time, they made a show of them being faster than Western subs. That was because they decreased weight with shoddy radiation shielding. Alfa-class, fastest sub ever, and deepest diving combat sub. Expensive, titanium hulls. Titanium is a bitch to weld, and these subs often suffered cracks in the hull. Plus, very noisy engine. There was much mystery when the West saw these pods on the rear tail of certain Russian subs. Turned out to be just a hydrophone array, as their sonar technology is shit. MiG-25, fastest fighter jet. No gun, turns like a brick, and shit engines that needed replacing every time it broke Mach 3. What they are good at?
-Nukes -Biowar weapons -Equipment that can operate in rough conditions. Contrary to Back to the Future, an AK-47's most unlikely problem during use is jamming. That thing can function if you dipped it in molasses. -Knowing full well that high-tech does not automatically beat low-tech.

👍 Yes, you and Eddie Hitler both laughed. I'm telling you: I saw it turn invisible, and it was no paint job. It wasn't an exact match with the sky but it was good enough. You don't have to believe it and you can laugh all you want, but I'm not changing my story.

Not quite, but they looked a tad blurry. 👈 Interesting, but what I saw couldn't have been anything less than an active camouflage system, like in that movie "Predator." I had been hearing loud jets for a few years but never could see them (unlike the chemtrail sprayers which are more visible but very quiet). One day I saw two F-22s flying wing abreast. They were the first I had ever seen in real life. [Kind of reminded me of when I lived in Florida and MacDill AFB replaced their aging F-4s with F-16s. I heard about it but it was a while before I saw them flying over.] Some days after I saw the two F-22s I saw a single F-22 flying very close to me from the Southeast, and as the plane was parallel with me it went nearly invisible. I could still see where it was but only because I had my eye on it previously. It was only a slight shade darker than the sky, which explained why I was never able to see them before. It so closely matched the color of the sky that your chances of finding it would be effectively nil if you didn't already know where it was. And that's my story, and I'm sticking to it. And if it chaps your "arse," too bad. Military secrecy is involved here, Proggy. You don't really expect them to tell us everything, do you?

They wouldn't stick it on something so public. 👍 The F-22 must be nearly 30 years old in terms of design and concept. If it had cloaking abilities in that time, then you can bet they have something better. 😲 Perhaps they've perfected what they tried in the Philadelphia Experiment, they create a hyperspace vortex, and have ironed out the problems such as time travel, making crew go insane, or winding up with crew embedded in metal? 😎

You've got to do better. Nope, only semi-funny. Do u not believe in the Philadelphia Experiment? It's one of the kings of conspiracy theories. Supposedly they were making a ship invisible to radar, and the thing vanished/time travelled/hyperspaced.

It's one of the kings of conspiracy theories. Supposedly they were making a ship invisible to radar, and the thing vanished/time travelled/hyperspaced. Yes, I believe it happened. Maybe the experiment was not repeated, or maybe they figured out a better way to cause invisibility. I listened to one of the USS Eldridge crewmembers on the radio once, and he said originally they were going for both radar and optical invisibility, but then decided that if optical invisibility was achieved the convoy ships might crash into each other, and radar invisibility was enough. You probably know more about the German submarine tactics than I do, but it seems like at some point in the war Allied air superiority meant that the subs couldn't rely on the Focke-Wulf Condors to spot the targets for them anymore, so they began fitting radar to their subs. If so, the Philadelphia Experiment was an attempt to counter this. I also seem to recall that Tesla and Einstein were involved.
